I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
